The neuomorphology Research Lanboratory basically, but not exclusively (since offers services for other research groups ouside the institute and for departments in the local unoversity) in engaged with neurobiology research. The Laboratory is equipped with instruments to support lihóght- and electron micrsocopic investigations (Zeiss, Nikon, Olympus fluorescent light microscopes and Zeiss electron filtering electron micrsocope). The laboratory is offering a full range of imaging methods, from light- through laser confocal- to high resolutional electron microscopy for morphological and microanalytical characterication of biological samples with an enmphasis on brain tissue.
