The Fluorescent Techniques Core Facility has been operating since June 1st 2006 on the Semmelweis University in the Institute of Human Physiology and Clinical Experimental Research. The laboratory was founded with the aim to make available the high value equipment for the research groups at the university and other academic or non-academic workgroups. The laboratory owns a ZEISS LSM 510 Meta laser scanning confocal microscope, a Zeiss AxioImager AxioCam with a MRc5 camera, a FACS Calibur flow cytometer, a Luminex platform and a BIOTEK Powerwave XS spectrophotometer. Since the beginning of the operation the laboratory has worked with more than 15 research groups of the Semmelweis University, with other academic and industrial partners. The collaborations resulted in many publications and conference materials.

[edit] About the facility
