About the facility

The RI possesses a set of research equipments that enables ihigh resolution and accurate labeling and investigation of cells, subcellular organelles and molecules that play important roles in the structure and function of various organs and tissues. The investigated cells, organelles and molecules can be studied with a wide range of qualitative and quantitative experimental methods. In addition to a substantial number of various small laboratory equipments that are essential for the continuous operation, the following large research equipments are available in the RI: Olympus confocal laser scanning microscope, Nikon multifunctional research microscope, Neurolucida 2D and 3D image analysis system
