MicroCT provides high resolution 3D image data of samples without destruction. Typical applications: hard tissues, pills, minerals, microfossils, ICs and ex vivo soft tissues filled with contrast media. X-ray source: 20-100 kV microfocus (<5 micrometer), X-ray detector:12 bits, 1.3 Mpixel cooled CCD optically coupled to scintillator. Maximum sample size: 68 mm length, 37 mm diameter. The mallest voxel size depends on the diameter of the sample (between 2-30 micrometer).
